Délices à...
Appellation Touraine Amboise

Taste wines from the Touraine Amboise appellation* after your visit to the Royal Château of Amboise or the Clos Lucé.

I invite you to visit a vineyard—often a family-run estate—and take a guided tour of the cellar or wine-making facility. This wine-tasting tour will focus on white wines made from the Chenin Blanc grape variety or red wines made from “Côt,” also known as “Malbec.”

What wines might be offered? Whites, rosés, reds, and wines from other grape varieties created by the estate’s winemakers. A rich terroir just steps from the Loire River, where expertise and authenticity await.

*What is an appellation ?

An appellation, also known as an AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée), refers to a wine produced in a specific region and subject to strict production standards. It guarantees the wine’s origin, the winemakers’ expertise, and the wine’s distinctive character, which reflects the local climate, soils, and grape varieties.
